news The number of visitors to the San Marino Pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020 reached 100,000 29 December 2021

The number of visitors at Expo 2020 Dubai has increased dramatically, reaching -in the second week of December- a total number of 6.3 million visitors since the beginning of the event.

A significant attendance, driven by the numerous world-class concerts, sporting events, and group entertainment. A new family dining offer was also recently launched, consisting of a free meal for every child in some of the city's restaurants free meal for every child in some participating restaurants.  

With the new Expo holiday pass that grants unlimited access to the exhibition site for just 95 AED (just over 20 euros) -on sale until the end of December-, the number of visits is bound to increase.

In this setting, the San Marino Pavilion is also celebrating a great milestone, with 100,000 visitors who have come to discover the history of the oldest Republic of Freedom since the beginning of Expo 2020 Dubai.

Meanwhile, the Pavilion is looking forward to Christmas, the upcoming events, exchanges with other pavilions and the date of National Day, most likely rescheduled for Sunday, February 13th.

Expo 2020 Dubai continues to maintain strong COVID-19 measures, ensuring a safe event for all participants.
With more than 90 percent of the UAE's population fully vaccinated, Expo 2020 Dubai has required mandatory vaccination of all staff, volunteers, contractors and service providers of Expo and international participants.

Visitors aged 18 years and older are required to present proof of any vaccination or a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours. The Pavilion maintains on-site sanitation stations and mandatory masks
both inside and outside.
