A blend of artificial intelligence and Renaissance creativity dispels the myth of uncomfortable high heels, offering them maximum comfort—a must for those working in Osaka.
San Marino, 13 November 2024 – Enrico Cuini will travel to Japan on the feet of the female management team representing San Marino at Expo 2025 Osaka. The General Commissioner, Filippo Francini, signed a sponsorship agreement with the founder and owner of the company, whose production facility is based in Porto Sant’Elpidio. In a few years, Cuini’s brand has sold 20,000 pairs of luxury, tailor-made shoes across the United States, Italy, Australia, and the UAE, blending sustainability, craftsmanship, and advanced technology to create footwear uniquely adapted to each foot.
An industrial designer with knowledge of architecture, engineering, material sciences, and biomechanics, and a strong aptitude for research, innovation, and artificial intelligence, Enrico Cuini reinvented himself and entered the world of footwear. He developed a revolutionary technology called Alia AI (Artificial Line in Archifitting), which unveils the secrets of each fit via smartphone and transforms shopping into a personalized service.
“A dynamic carbon bridge, created by designing a ‘butterfly’ between the sole and heel, with a dual wing that rises from the insole, expands the foot’s support surface, dissipates body weight, and makes it feel like half. Industry experts have said that my 100mm heel has the same support base as a sneaker,” Cuini explained. Looking toward the Japanese market as a new horizon, he sees the Osaka Expo as an opportunity to open doors for his company, which has a showroom in San Marino.
Commissioner General Francini expressed satisfaction with the partnership with the Italian entrepreneur, which follows a successful collaboration during Expo Dubai 2020.
